Are you a middle or high school student who loves basketball and wants to get more involved in the game? River Hoops is hosting a Junior Referee Clinic designed to introduce students to the exciting world of basketball officiating!
No prior experience is needed — just bring your enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a passion for the sport.

Location: Miramichi Valley High School (meet at the gym)
This one-hour clinic will cover the basics of basketball officiating, including court positioning, signals, and the key responsibilities of a referee. Participants will gain valuable knowledge, confidence, and leadership skills that can lead to officiating opportunities throughout the basketball season.
Whether you’re interested in helping out with youth games, building your confidence, or earning some extra experience (and money!) in basketball, this clinic is a great place to start.
