It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rita Manderville on October 29, 2025, at the age of 86, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Renous, Rita was the daughter of the late George and Francis (Thompson) Donovan and loving wife to the late Carmen Manderville. She was a member of the St. Bridget’s Roman Catholic Church, Renous.

She is survived by three sons Wayne (Tammy) and Reg of Renous, Keith (Margit) and daughter Veronica (Glenn) of Fredericton, five grandchildren Karina, Graham, Sarah, Grace, and Carrie, and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, Rita was predeceased by her sisters Kathryn Whalen, Bernadine Underhill, Marcella Donohue, Betty Hogan, brothers Greg and Nicholas Donovan and special sister and godmother Gladys Barrieau.

Rita and the family would like to extend a special thank you to both the staff of the Extra Mural Program and Percy’s Place for their excellent care and compassion.

Visitation will be held on November 3, 2025 from 2pm to 6pm and mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 11 am. Both celebrations will be held at St. Bridget’s Roman Catholic Church, Renous with Fr. Paul Doucet officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
