It is with saddened hearts that Maurice Boucher, Carmel Golding, Patricia Boucher and Marc Boucher announce the death of their brother Paul Emile Boucher on October 29, 2025, at Percy’s Place at the age of 70 years.

Paul lived his life on his own terms, but this did not diminish our love for him.  As a young man, Paul worked for Albert Power for several years before coming back to Miramichi.  Here he worked as custodian at the Miramichi Exhibition Building for over 20 years.

Paul Leaves behind his brothers and sisters, two sons: Tal Boucher and Aaron Boucher, both of Alberta, along with sisters-in-law: Janice Boucher and Diane Boucher, brothers-in-law: Merle Milson and Richard Golding, and several nephews and a niece.

Paul was pre-deceased by his parents Edmond and Thérèse Boucher as well as the mother of his sons, Alice.

The family would like to thank Dr. Gerard Losier who cared for and befriended Paul for many years. Thanks also to the staff and volunteers at Percy’s Place who went above and beyond to provide Paul with kindness, comfort and care in his last weeks. And finally, a world of thanks to Geraldine McIntyre and her wonderful staff at Eastside Special Care Home where Paul lived during these last five plus years. With their care and love he was welcomed as family and indeed became part of their family. Angels truly do walk among us.

Visitation for Paul will be held at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St. Miramichi, New Brunswick on Monday, November 3rd, 2025, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael’s Basilica, 10 Howard St., Miramichi, New Brunswick on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025, at 11 AM, with The Reverend Father John Fraser as Celebrant.  Interment will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery.

In Paul’s memory and in lieu of flowers, donations to Percy’s Place or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Arrangements are entrusted to Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, New Brunswick, telephone (506) 773-3492.  Additionally, messages of condolence may be shared online at www.adamsfh.ca
