The death of Ivan James Kelly, husband of the late Joan (Sturgeon) Kelly, of Gray Rapids, NB, occurred on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 86. Born in Gray Rapids, NB, he was the son of the late Lorne and Elva (Coughlan) Kelly. 

Ivan is survived by daughters: Darla Nowlan (Roderick) of Warwick Settlement, NB, Alma Colford of Gray Rapids, NB; son-in-law: Ross Nowlan; grandchildren: Kayla Veno (Murray), Adrienne Nowlan (Alex Benoit), Braden Nowlan, Janelle Nowlan (Craig Kenny), Kayne Colford, Drake Nowlan (Chloe Sturgeon); great grandchildren: Turner, Oakley, Pryce, Abel, Emery, Olsen, Aaron, Kacie; sisters: June Sturgeon of Blackville, NB, Sharon Gallon of Gray Rapids, NB, Rhonda Jardine of Gray Rapids, NB, Louise Robertson (Gary) of St. John, NB; brothers: Daryl (Betty) of Fredericton, NB, Alvin (Shelia) of Gray Rapids, NB; as well as many nieces and nephews.
