The death of Ronald “Ron” Joseph Gaston Savoy soulmate and best friend of Joyce Ramsay of Miramichi, NB, occurred on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at the Miramichi Hospital at the age of 67. Born in Newcastle, NB, he was the son of the late William and Yvonne Savoie. Ron was a carpenter by trade but worked at various jobs over the years. Ron was deeply proud of his three daughters, whose strength, kindness, and determination always filled him with joy which brought him deep happiness throughout his life. Ron was a very proud grandfather and loved spending time and exploring nature with them. He enjoyed playing cards, both poker and crib, travelling and having deep conversations with either family or friends. He would light up any room he walked into, he was a man well loved by many.
