The passing of Margaret “Peggy” McLaughlin, wife of Gary McLaughlin, of Blackville, NB, occurred on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 74. Born in Keenans, NB, she was the daughter of the late Noreen and Joe (Colford) Keenan.

Peggy is survived by husband: Gary McLaughlin; children: Les, Jennifer (Allan), Cathy (Yannick), Lori-Ann, Pat, Andy, Johnny; grandchildren: Chloe Furlong, Christopher Milson, Cassidy Lemieux (Tristian), Damian McLaughlin, Janson McLaughlin, Joseph McLaughlin, Ashleigh Reynolds; great grandchildren: Arteus Lemieux, Attas Lemieux; brothers: Billy, Ernie (Chris), Mark (Penny), Danny (Marlene), Junior (Kathy); sisters: Mary-Ellen (late Sterling) , Josephine (Jerry), Teresa (Junior); brother-in-law: Donnie Brophy: best friends: Marianne Vickers, Bernadette MacWilliams; special granddaughter: Brandie Gillespie; as well as many nieces and nephews.
