Tonight at 5:50 p.m., the Miramichi Police Force descended on Henry Street near Queen Elizabeth Park and arrested a man. Three officers grappled with the man, who was resisting, and eventually managed to subdue him.

Bystanders were calling out, “Is that you, Nick?”

The man protested that he didn’t do anything wrong and repeatedly said, “I don’t want to die!”
