Hey everyone ! We are incredibly excited to announce that Dining with Dignity is officially being adopted by the Miramichi John Howard Society! 

This partnership marks a huge step forward for our program. Joining with JHS opens new doors, giving us access to fundraising opportunities, more hands on deck, and the ability to reach further and help even more people in our city who are experiencing homelessness, hunger, and poverty.

While this is a new chapter, our mission remains the same. We will continue running our program just as we always have with the tremendous support of our community. Serving meals, providing essential supplies, and creating a space of dignity, warmth, and connection. And as we keep growing, we’ll be able to do even more.

Over the past year, we’ve teamed up with the Miramichi John Howard Society and their street outreach team on many projects and fundraisers, working together to meet goals and get resources to those who need it most. We’re thrilled to take this next step forward with them. 

When we started this initiative we never could have imagined what it would grow into. But thanks to the outpouring of love and support from our community, we’ve been able to continue helping our city’s most vulnerable. Today, we’re out three nights a week, every week, meeting people where they’re at and offering not just food and supplies but friendship, compassion, and hope.

We’re so grateful to the John Howard Society of Miramichi for believing in our work and helping us grow. And we promise to keep showing up, building relationships, and fighting for a city where everyone is treated with dignity and no one goes hungry.
