In Loving Memory of Diane Baker - 1953 - 2025
It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Diane Edna Baker (Joudry), who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 72 at Percy's Place in Miramichi, New Brunswick.
Born in Toronto, Ontario, on April 29, 1953, to Gordon Joudry and Bernice Joudry (Ramsay), she was the youngest of four children. She lived her life with a spunky spirit and a great sense of humor. She had a generous heart; if you told her you liked something, she'd say, "Oh you can have it, here, take it!" Her keen sense of style and her natural beauty especially with her striking white hair, made her unforgettable to all who knew her.
Above all she was devoted to her family. A caring and selfless mother and grandmother, she would drop everything to help one of her children or grandchildren, no matter the circumstance. She is now reunited in heaven with her beloved daughter, Alicia!
Her life was enriched by the love of family; her husband Keith; her children, Amanda (Brent), Kory (Anna), and the late Alicia (Schyler and Jill); her much loved grandchildren, Liam, Jesse, Owen, Ivory, Ella, and Aava; as well as Indy, whom she lovingly babysat and embraced as a grandson; her sister, Elly (Steve); and brothers, Mel (Rose), and Carl. She also had many cousins whom she kept in contact with. Beyond family she was blessed with cherished friendships; especially her best friend Donna (and her girls), whom she shared many adventures and unwavering friendship for over 40 years. Also, her neighbor Lois, whom she shared endless laughs with. Both friendships brought joy, laughter, and great companionship into her life.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Diane's wish was that donations be made to Percy's Place, where she found much peace and comfort. As a family we would like to thank Dr. Losier, Jill Hackett, and the staff for taking such good care of her.
Arrangements are entrusted to Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, New Brunswick
