It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rolla Duffy wife of the late Larry Duffy, on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the Horizon Regional Hospital, Miramichi, NB at the age of 68. Born in Red Bank, NB, she was the daughter of the late Bob and Minnie LeFebvre. Rolla retired after 30 years from the Miramichi Regional Hospital after beginning her career at the Newcastle Hospital on King George Highway in the library and then moved to the Regional Hospital in the maintenance department. In the summer her passion was taking “Baby” her mustang convertible for a spin, enjoyed the outdoors, trips to the camp at Devils Brook, hunting and she enjoyed doing crafts.

Rolla is survived by her sons: Troy of Miramichi, NB; Ryan of White Rapids, NB; sisters: Florie Dennis (Kevin) of Charlottetown, PEI; Irene Young (Paul) of Matthew Settlement, NB; Carmel Nickerson (Randy) of Barrington, NS; Dianne Jardine (Lloyd) of Warwick Settlement, NB; brother: Chris LeFebvre (Barb) of Back Road, NB; sister-in-law: Marjorie LeFebvre of Sunny Corner, NB; brothers-in-law: David Harris of Miramichi, NB; Severus Duffy “Jr.” (Milly) of Craigville, NB; Randy Duffy (Judy) of Fredericton, NB; Tom Duffy (Mary) of Miramichi, NB as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, Rolla is predeceased by her siblings: Al LeFebvre and Rosalie Harris and sister-in-law: Francis Sturgeon.

At Rolla’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will be held at St. Bridget’s Roman Catholic Cemetery later in the spring.
