The death of Sherry Lee Ann Curtis, wife of Donald Curtis of Sunny Corner, NB, occurred on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at the Miramichi Hospital at the age of 64. Born in Newcastle, NB, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Clara (Sonier) Doyle. Sherry worked as a Compensation Advisor for the Pay Center in Miramichi.

Sherry was an avid outdoorswoman, enjoying camping at Oak Point Campground, as well as hunting and fishing. Above all, she cherished her family, with a special fondness for her grandchildren, Austin, Ava, Ella, Emma, and Madison, who brought her great joy. Her love and devotion to her loved ones were evident in the time she spent with them.

In addition to her husband Donald Curtis, Sherry is survived by her children: Terri MacKinley (Stephen) of Chelmsford, NB; Jason Gorman (Tracey) of Fredericton, NB; step-daughters: Cassidy Donovan (Karter) of Douglastown, NB; Kennedy Curtis (Braden McDonald) of Barnaby, NB; mother-in-law: Betty Curtis of CI Road, NB; sisters: Paula Smith (Robert) of Douglastown, NB; Lisa Doyle (Kenny Matchett) of Newcastle, NB; brothers: Paul Doyle (Jean) of Douglastown, NB; Gary Doyle of Rogersville, NB; Jeff Doyle of Newcastle, NB; sister-in-law: Angie Curtis (Roland Richard) of CI Road, NB; brother-in-law: Matthew Curtis (Guilaine Lavigne) of Halifax, NS; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Sherry is predeceased by her parents; an infant sister, Cheryl Doyle; brothers, Bart and Brett Doyle; and father-in-law, Willis Curtis.
