The death of Norma (Austin) Kay, wife of the late David Kay, of South Nelson, occurred on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Percy’s Place at the age of 73. Born in Charlottetown, PEI, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Austin and Eileen (Ash) Kinney Austin. Before retirement, Norma worked as a telemarketer, she enjoyed playing darts and bingo.

Norma is survived by daughters: Krista “Krissy” Kay of South Nelson, NB, Kelly Doyle (Pat) of Quarryville, NB; son: David Kay (Trisha) of Midhurst, ON; grandchildren: Kelsey, Megan, Carter, Allie, Charlie, Ethan, Ella, Taylor; great grandchildren: Kyron, Kenton; siblings: Larry Austin (Jeanie) of Ontario, Sheryl Foran (late Claude) of Ontario, Arthur Austin (Donna) of Moncton, NB; step siblings: Dianne Coats (late Reg) of Fredericton, NB, Brian Kinney (Paula) of Moncton, NB; sister-in-law: Debbie Loftus (Dave) of Moncton, NB, Jessie Kinney.; brother-in-law: Allen Kay (Rose) of Dieppe, NB; mother in law: Marjorie Kay; as well as many nieces and nephews.
