Rogersville, NB – It is with heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of Marcel A. T. Richard, 85, of Foyer Assomption, on Tuesday, October 21st, 2025.
Born in Noinville, NB, he was the son of the late Antoine T. Richard and the late Victoire (Chevarie) Richard.
Prior to his retirement, he worked as a lumberjack and drove logging truck.
He was survived by his daughters: Régina Gallant (Jean) and Claudine Richard (Danny), both of Rogersville, Rosella Richard (Alphonse) of Noinville, Alice Richard (Michel) of Ouest-Collette and Anne Bailey (Kevin) of Minto; by his sons: Maurice (Monique) of St-Louis-de-Kent and Rhéal of Noinville; by his sisters: Edmée Gauvin of Dieppe, Alice Robichaud (Donald) of Cocagne and Nellie McIsaac (late Angus) of Acadie-Siding; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by wife, Suzanne (Barrieau) Richard; by his sons: Emile and Antoine; by his great grandson, Justin; by his sisters: Laura and Henriette and by his brother, Emile.
Visitation will be held from St-François-de-Sales RC Church Chapel, Rogersville, NB, on Tuesday, October 28th, 2025, from noon to 2:45 pm, funeral will follow in the church at 3 pm.
Burial will be held in St-Joseph Cemetery, Kent Junction, NB.
