The death of Joseph Kevin Blacquier, of Nelson-Miramichi, NB, occurred on Thursday, December 25, 2025, at his residence at the age of 70. Born in Chatham, NB, he was the son of the late Francis and Rita (Poirier) Blacquier. Kevin worked at various jobs over the years and was a member of the Miramichi Fiddlers and enjoyed going to Tim’s and hanging out with his friends at coffee time.

Kevin is survived by his daughter: Jennifer Blacquier of Chatham, NB, grandson: Kyegan; sister: Karen Saunders (Manny) of Nelson, NB; niece and nephew: Sophie Saunders and Cody Saunders.

At the request of the family there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
