John Joseph Godin of Miramichi, New Brunswick, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital with Jeanne by his side at the age of 70.

Born in Caraquet, New Brunswick, on November 24, 1955, he was the son of the late Adolphe and Theresa (Duplessie) Godin.  John worked as a Custodian, Carpenter and handyman.  He enjoyed playing the guitar, hunting, fishing and being in the great outdoors.  

He will be greatly missed by his loving partner, Jeanne of Miramichi, New Brunswick; loved and missed by his son, John Jr. Walace Godin and step-son, Lawrence; one brother, Joe (Barb) Godin; three sisters: Dianne (Skipper) Vautor, Rose Mary (Edward) Lamb and Rena (Gilbert) Kent and several nieces and nephews, Tanya, Cole and Autumn.  He is predeceased by his parents and one brother, Roger (Angela) Godin. ...
