The death of Frances Mary (Quiggley) Coughlan, wife of Roy Coughlan of Blackville, NB, occurred on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 78. Born in Boiestown,NB, she was the daughter of the late Jimmy and Lillian (Barrieau) Quiggley. Frances was a member of the CWL and St. Raphael's Roman Catholic Church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by daughters: Theresa Mountain (Jody) of Blissfield, NB, Linda Coughlan of Blackville, NB, Corinne Tucker (Kim) of Alberta; sons: Jason (Christine) of Rockland, NB, Larry (Diana) of Nelson, NB, Douglas (Rachel) of Alberta; sisters: Madeline Doucet (Martin) of Bathurst, NB; brother: Percy (Annabelle) of Neguac, NB; 27 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she is predeceased by son: Michael; grandson: Randy.

The family will receive visitors at St. Raphael's Roman Catholic Church on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 5-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Raphael's Roman Catholic Church on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 11 o’clock with Fr. Paul Doucet officiating.
