The death of Carol Mildred (Ward) Gilks, wife of Glenn Gilks, of Blissfield, NB, occurred on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 73. Born in Blissfield, NB, she was the daughter of the late William and Sadie (Porter) Ward.

Besides her husband, Carol is survived by son: Brad Gilks of Blissfield, NB; sister; Rita Porter of Doaktown, NB; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Carol is predeceased by brothers: Edward, Glen, Dean, Lee, Wayne; sisters: Maisie and Gertie.

Following her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
