The death of Byron Edward Stephens, husband of Marion (Kervin) Stephens, occurred on Monday, December 1, 2025, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 77. Born in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Jack and Jean (Ripley) Stephens. Before retirement, Byron was a game warden, fisherman and carpenter.

Besides his wife, Byron is survived by son: Cory (Lisa) of Fredericton, NB; daughter in law: Annie Stephens; stepdaughters: Glenna Sullivan (Barry) of Grand Manan, NB, Christina Campbell (Rick) of Ludlow, NB, Lillian Campbell of Fredericton, NB; stepsons: Bobby Campbell (Shana) of Fredericton, NB, Charlie Campbell (Wendy) of New Bandon, NB; several grandchildren, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; sister: Marie Tompkins of Fredericton, NB; brother: Timmy Stephens of Fredericton, NB; as well as many nieces and nephews.
