Jolyne and Claude Lavoie were out for a run on their side-by-side on the weekend when they encountered a young moose stranded on the ice, unable to stand and get to the shore.

Jolyne captured the video of Claude and two Public Safety Officers who they had just seen nearby, help pull the moose to the shore and get him/her on his feet.  The officers were Mark Harrigan and Matt Young.

The three videos were posted on Facebook by Jolyne and received hundreds of positive comments and interest from news websites.
