Anna Marie (Glynn) Sullivan, RN, BN, wife of Dennis Sullivan of Miramichi, New Brunswick, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Mount St. Joseph.
Anna was born in Chatham, New Brunswick on April 21, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Connell) from Bartibog, New Brunswick and Leo Glynn from Weldfield, New Brunswick.
Anna is survived by her husband, Dennis; son, Kevin; brother, James Glynn and sister-in-law, Florence Glynn. She is predeceased by her parents, her daughter, Colleen Sullivan (2024), her brothers, Charles (Evelyn) and Gerald Glynn.
Anna received her RN training at Hotel Dieu School of Nursing in Chatham, New Brunswick and acquired her Bachelor of Nursing at St. Thomas University in Chatham, New Brunswick. Anna taught at Hotel Dieu School of Nursing for 12 years. After the nursing school closed, Anna worked in the Emergency Department at Hotel Dieu Hospital for 6 months and then went on to work for Public Health for over 20 years, from where Anna retired.
Anna enjoyed looking after her family, especially cooking of which she was a master.
By request there will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael’s Basilica, 10 Howard St., Miramichi, New Brunswick on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 2 pm. Interment will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Mount St. Joseph would be appreciated by the family.
