August 18, 1961 – November 29, 2025

The passing of Alice Richard, wife of Thomas “Tommy” Richard of Bellefond NB, occurred on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 64. Born in Guelph, ON, she was the daughter of the late Gladys Guitard. Alice worked at KRT as a home care worker.

In addition to her loving husband Tommy Richard, Alice is survived by her children: Joey Richard (Tara) of Casillis, NB, Todd Richard (Amy) of South Esk, NB, and Christopher Richard (Brittany) of Bellefond, NB. Grandchildren: Alissa, Landon, Cadence and Carter. Sisters Debbie Hill (Stephen), Ruby Guitard and Barbara Guitard. Brother, Brian Guitard. As well as many brothers and sister in laws, and nieces and nephews.

Alice is predeceased by her mother, and brothers; Albain and Stanley, as well as her mother and father-in-law, Germaine and Ernest Richard.

Alice was married to her soulmate for 46 years. They raised 3 boys, in which they were all her “favourite” and if any of them got into “trouble” they were Tommy’s kids! She lived for her family, loving them with a strength that never wavered.  Becoming a grandmother changed her life in the best of all possible ways. Being called “Nanny” always brought a smile to her face.
