The death of Jacques “Jack” Maurice Frechette husband of Mary Jane Frechette of Miramichi, NB and formerly of Ontario, occurred on Monday, November 3, 2025, at the Miramichi Hospital at the age of 75. Born in Toronto, ON, he was the son of the late Jean and Joyce (Bendl) Frechette. Jack was a retired Photo Finishing Salesman and Business Owner prior to moving to New Brunswick. In his younger years he rebuilt a classic car and wrote a book about his family entitled, “Five Rows of Barbed Wire.”

Jack was loved by many and will be greatly missed by his wife Jane, his children: Sarah Frechette of Clinton, ON; Michael Frechette (Lindsay) of Shediac Bridge, NB; sister: Judy Thomas (Rick) of Goderich, ON; grandchildren: Felix, Courtlyn, Nicolas, Vincent, Alexis and Byron as well as nieces and nephews.

At Jack’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
