The death of Frank “Frankie” Vickers, of Bridgeview Hall, occurred on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at his residence at the age of 76. Born in Newcastle, NB, he was the son of the late James and Ruby (Silliker) Vickers. Before retirement, Frank was a bartender at various places.

Frank lived his whole life in Miramichi. He loved to sing, dance and have fun. Frank was healthy until he unfortunately suffered a massive stroke at the age of 60, which he never fully recovered from. He spent his remaining years loved and spoiled by his sisters and brothers, at the Miramichi Seniors Citizens Home on Water Street, until they closed. He then moved to Bridgeview Hall.

Frankie is survived by his loving family; son: Franklin Vickers of Newcastle, NB; sisters: Betty White (late David), Paula Vickers, Pam Vickers, Nancy MacKinley (Lorne), Barbara Jean McDougall (Rick) all of Miramichi, NB; brother: Jeri of Miramichi, NB; as well as several nieces and nephews.
