The death of Ann Marie (O’Shea) Hubbard, wife of William “Billy” Hubbard of Whitney, NB, occurred on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the Saint John Regional Hospital at the age of 74. Born in Newcastle, NB, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Ann (Kingston) O’Shea. 

Ann Marie trained as an RNA and worked at a few different jobs in the hospital prior to retiring from the ECG Department at the Miramichi Hospital. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church where she was very involved in church activities. Ann Marie enjoyed pickling, tending her flower gardens, cooking for family and friends, playing cards or bingo with friends and talking on the phone for very long periods of time to both family and friends. She would always be prepared for a baby shower no matter the gender as she loved shopping for baby clothes and if you couldn’t find her in a store you would just need to find the racks of baby clothes and there was Ann Marie.
