Shippagan Man Charged with Trafficking Cocaine

A Shippagan, N.B., man has been charged with trafficking cocaine.
On July 31, 2012, 69-year-old Alexis Mallet appeared in Caraquet Provincial Court and was charged with trafficking cocaine.
Mallet was arrested during the execution of a search warrant at his residence in Shippagan on May 12, 2012, following an RCMP investigation spanning several months.
He will appear in court in September to enter a plea.
The investigation is ongoing.
