Hiking the Napali Coast
Kauai, Hawaii
This documentary takes you on a hair-raising 10 km trek along the cliffs of the beautiful Napali Coast of Kauai. This northern most island of Hawaii is considered the garden island and the greenest place in the world. From a height of 2000 feet from the Pacific Ocean below, I want to show you true my eyes, a usual day out on the island by bringing you on a typical hike through different tropical vegetation with spectacular views and challenging trails. This hike took us over very dangerous parts of this trail that were washed out by rain, ending up at a section that allowed no errors in judgement. Kauai was the last place I saw my mother alive in January, 2001 so I decided to acquire a place on the North Shore of the island and spend my winters there from 2002 to 2008.

This is the video that started it all! This is my first documentary shot in 2008 with a compact digital camera with a video feature.
