The death of Wilhelmina Cornelia (Van De Paul) Linden, formally of Whitney, NB, occurred on Monday, May 5, 2025, at the Moncton City Hospital at the age of 98. Born in Heeze, Netherlands, she was the daughter of the late Franciscus and Adriana (Scheepers) Van De Paul. She was a very involved member of the community; she was a member of the St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church Choir for 30 years. She was also a member of the Island view Senior Citizen Club, Whitney Willing Workers, Kidney Foundation and Hospital Auxiliary. She square danced for over 30 years, and enjoyed gardening and nature.

Wilhelmina is survived by daughter: Jane Marie Linden (Al) of Calgary, AB; sons: John of Whitney, NB, Peter of Moncton, NB; grandchild; Cheryl Turcotte; step grandchildren : Arthur Godin, Amanda Godin; great grandchildren: Brianna, Amanda, Savannah; sister: Anny Verryken of Nuenen, Netherlands; sister-in-law: Anneke Van De Paul of Heeze, Netherlands; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she is predeceased by sister: Lies (Harry), Ley (Harry); brother: Frits (Cisca), Harrie, Bert (Riek).

The family will receive visitors at Jardine Funeral Home on Friday, May 9, 2025, from 6-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 11 o’clock. Burial will take place at the church cemetery later in the spring.
