The death of Wendell Allison, husband of the late Mary (Matchett) Allison, of Bridgeview Hall, occurred on Friday, March 14, 2025, at his late residence at the age of 88. 

Born in Boom Road, NB, he was the son of the late Isabella (Forsythe) and Stillman Allison. 

Wendell was a truck driver, woodsman, carpenter and also worked at the Northwest Salmon barrier which he enjoyed the most. He enjoyed cutting firewood on his woodlot, and enjoyed meeting friends and dancing at Ritchies Wharf. 

Wendell is survived by sons: Randy (Sylvie) and Troy (Andrea) both of Boom Road, NB; grandchildren: Tannor, Tory, Mathew, Ryan, Amber; great grandchild: Oliva. 

Besides his parents and wife, he is predeceased by special friend: Doreen Lynch; sister: Selma; brothers: Wayne, Harvey and Derell. 

Following his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. 

A graveside service will be held at St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Cemetery later in the spring. 

In memory of Wendell, donations can be made out to the Alzheimer’s Association.
