It is with great sadness, but with a heart full of beautiful memories, that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Thelma Jean (Harris) Sullivan. Surrounded by her loving family, she left her earthly home for her heavenly one on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the age of 93.

Born on October 3, 1931, she was the eldest child of the late Alexander and Ella (Kelly) Harris. Mom was known for her delicious meals that she did so effortlessly. Her donuts, cinnamon rolls, pumpkin pies, scotch cookies and blueberry deckers earned her the affectionate title...The Cook! Her Christmas Eve menu consisted of everyone's favourite dessert!

Mom leaves behind to mourn her son, Richard (Janice) Sullivan, daughter, Mildred (late Paul) Allison, and daughter, Arlene (Ronald) Locke. She was a proud Nannie to Marsha (Trevor) Hare, Paula (Robert) Curtis, Sarah (Edward) Norman, Amy (Darcy) Manderville, Myles (Stacey Brunet) Sullivan, Marilee Locke and Evan Locke. She loved being Great Nannie to Sebastian, Angelica (Jayden), Eddy, Madison, Allison, Cadence, Allisa and Carter and Great - Great Nannie to Hudson. She was the eldest sister to Burpee (Olive) Harris and Harold (Norma) Harris.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 71 years, Herman John Sullivan, beloved son, Emerson Gayden, son in law, Paul Allison, sisters Jennie Underhill and Joan Blakeney.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the excellent care mom received. While she was still at home, Shawna Jardine and Thelma (Telly) Sullivan were so good to her and she loved them dearly. We were so fortunate that she was able to make a quick transition to the Vondy House/Hospice Miramichi where she spent her last three months being lovingly cared for by the exceptional Staff. It was clear that mom felt she was at home; you all made her feel so special.

Visitation will be held at The Pentecostals of Gray Rapids, 958 Route 118, Gray Rapids, NB on Tuesday, February 25 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Wednesday, February 26 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM with Reverend Graham Russell officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery later in the spring.
