Richard Ernest (Robby) Robertson of Halifax, NS and formerly of Miramichi, NB, passed away at the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, NS on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at the age of 89.

Born in Windsor, NS, on January 31, 1935, he was the son of the late Ernest and Ellen (Bartlett) Robertson.  He worked for Royal Canadian Air Force for 35 years.  He attended St. Michael’s Basilica.

He is survived by daughter, Karen Hanna; sons: Gary Robertson and Stephen Robertson; grandchildren: Sarah Robertson, Jenna Robertson, Claire Robertson, Rachel Hanna and Luke Hanna; sisters: Carolyn Folker and Joan Fredericks; brother, Joe Robertson; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  He was predeceased by his parents, wife, Clora Mary Robertson; two brothers: James (Jimmy) and John (Johnny) Robertson.

As per Richard’s (Robby) request there will be no visitation.  A funeral mass will be held at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi on Monday, November 25, 2024 at 11 am.  Interment will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
