The death of Phyllis Mary (Rubidge) Lamb, wife of the late Clayton Lamb, of Parkland and formally of Minto, NB, occurred on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 89. Born in New Jerusalem, NB, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Jean (Elder) Rubidge. Phyllis was a postal worker in Minto and was a member of St. Andrew’s United Church. She was a nature lover, and loved to hunt and fish.

Phyllis is survived by sisters: Alice Farris (Carl) of Miramichi, NB, Joan Williams (late Fred) of Oromocto, NB; grandchildren: Megan Parker, Ian Parker; daughter in law: Sandra Parker of British Columbia; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, Clayton and her parents, she is predeceased by her first husband: Marvan Parker; son: Daniel Parker; brother: Ernest “Ernie”. 

The family will receive visitors at Jardine Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 1-2pm. Funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2 o’clock with Rev. Charlene Maguire Macknight officiating. Interment will take place at Red Bank United Cemetery, Chipman, NB.
