On December 21, 2024, around 4:15 PM, Michael “Mike” Gerard Colford husband of Cora-Lynn Colford, of New Bandon, New Brunswick, drove off in his 18-wheeler to be with the heavenly angels at the age of 69. Born in Chatham, New Brunswick, he was the son of the late Vincent and Peggy (Guyader) Colford. Mike was a truck driver and will be forever loved and remembered for the hardworking man he was. May he rest in peace. Mike was a member of Our Lady of Annunciation Roman Catholic Church and was a 3rd degree Knight with the Fr. Joe McKinnon, Council #6404 Knights of Columbus.

Besides his wife, Michael is survived by son, Tanner Colford (Sylvie Michaud) of Miramichi; two grandchildren: Alex and Charly Michaud Colford; brothers Vincent “Vinnie” (Cathy) of Blackville, NB; David (Cathy) of Doaktown, NB; Jeff of Fredericton,NB; Bruce (Carole) of Saint John, NB; sisters: Susan Parker of Lake George, NB and Adeline Matchett (Markie) of Scoudouc, NB.

Besides his parents, he is predeceased by brother-in-law: Doug Parker.

The Family will receive visitors at Our Lady of Annuniciation Roman Catholic Church, Doaktown, New Brunswick on Sunday, December 29, 2024, from 4 to 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 11 o’clock at Our Lady of Annuniciation Roman Catholic Church, Doaktown, New Brunswick with Father Paul Doucet officiating. Burial will take place at the Holy Name of Mary Roman Catholic Cemetery, Blissfield, New Brunswick later in the spring.
