Merrill Andrew Matchett of Miramichi, New Brunswick, passed away at the Moncton City Hospital on November 27, 2024, at the age of 54.
Born in Chatham, New Brunswick, on December 18, 1969, he was the son of the late Merrill Sr. and Margaret (Spray) Matchett. Merrill spent many years as a seasonal worker in the oil and gas industry where he made many friends, and was always up to helping someone whenever needed. He was loved and will be deeply missed.
Merrill is survived by his brother, John Matchett of Miramichi; as well as a niece, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, and sisters: Heather, Sharon, and Shelley.
