Marie Lindsay passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, Miramichi, New Brunswick, on February 27, 2025, at the age of 83.

Born in Chatham, New Brunswick, on August 21, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Susan Murdock. 

Marie is survived by her three sisters: Edith McGrath, Anna Austin, and Carolyn Gautreau (Moe), all of Miramichi; as well as her nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents, husband, Wayne, two brothers: Francis and John, and two sisters: Isabel and Pauline.

As per Marie’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral mass.  A graveside service will be held at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Miramichi, New Brunswick, later in the spring.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Miramichi Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated by the family.
