It is with broken hearts that we announce the death of Margaret (Margie) Stewart, wife of the late George (Geordie) Stewart, of Craigville, who passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the age of 82.

Margie is survived by her three sons: Todd and Troy, both of Miramichi, and Peter of Whitecourt Alberta; her grandchildren: Ricky, Laura, Josh, Mitchell, Madeline, Jessica, Grace, Michael, and Lily; her great grandchildren: Liam, Adeline, Sloane, Jameson, Avery, Ace, Abbie, Jameson, and Swayde: her siblings; Carmen, Gordon, Brian, all of Miramichi, Rosemary of Moncton and Reggie of Red Deer, Alberta; her sister in-laws: Maureen, Brenda, Sharon, Ann, and Gayle. Margie was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, Margie is predeceased by her parents: Norman & Florence (Swain) Trevors; her two daughters: Tanya and Peggy; her brothers; Donald, Norman Jr, Charles, Calvin, Joseph, Carl; and her sisters: Norma and Marie.

Margie was a homemaker, a loving mother and grandmother. She always looked forward to going to the camp, spending time with family. She was an avid bingo player, and enjoyed playing TV and radio bingo weekly. Margie was a woman of strong faith who loved her family and always prayed for them.

At her request, there will be no visitation. A funeral mass will take place at St Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 11 am, with Father Anthony Dass Papu officiating. Interment will take place in the church cemetery, at a later date.
