Lori A. Hay, R.N.

1953 – 2025

Lori Ann Hay, R.N., of Miramichi, New Brunswick, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on July 26, 2025, at the age of 71.

Born in Picton, Ontario, on November 25, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Marilyn (Juniper) Hay. Lori was a Registered Nurse and retired after 30 years. She attended The Point Church (Newcastle) and enjoyed Ladies Bible Study. She was a member of the Retired RN’s Group.

Lori is survived by her husband, Mike Gadou; two sons, Michael Rochon (Natasha), and Richard Gadou; sister, Diana Gauvin; seven grandchildren, Leslye, Stephanie, Samantha, Jessica, Emily, Justin, and Gregory; six great-grandchildren, Jacob, Evan, John, James, Logan, and Keira. She was predeceased by her parents; two daughters, infant Cheryl Lynn Hay and Cheryl Dianne Boucher.

By Lori’s request, there will be no visitation. A Celebration of Lori’s Life will be held at Adams Funeral Home Chapel, 140 King St., Miramichi, New Brunswick, on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Geoff McLean officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Miramichi, New Brunswick. 

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
