The death of Lillian Mary Estey, wife of the late Edward Estey, occurred on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Bridgeview Hall at the age of 92. Born in Newcastle, NB, she was the daughter of the late Allan and Cecilia (Robichaud) Ryan. 

Lillian loved music, dancing, and always attended every event held at Bridgeview Hall. She also loved playing cards, especially loved winning every game she played. 

Lillian is survived by daughters: June Matchett (Ron) of Chaplin Island Rd, NB, Barbara Estey (Donald) of Moncton, NB, Heather Walsh (Martin) of Sydney, NS; sons: Michael James (Kimberly) of Rexton, NB, Raymond (Cindy) of Wainfleet, ON; sister in law: Rachel of Nova Scotia; grandchildren: Sarah, Jamie, Mindy, Johnathan, Cody, Christopher; great grandchildren: London, Dayton, Weston, Jack, Emerson, Elliott, Ethan; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and parents, she is predeceased by son: Patrick; sister: Agnus Morris; brothers: Wilfred Ryan and Ernest Ryan. 

Following the families wishes there will be no visitation. Massof Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. James Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, at 2 o’clock with Fr. Peter Igwe officiating. Interment will follow in St. James Roman Catholic Cemetery.
