The death of Nancy Evelina “Lena” (Sturgeon) Clark wife of the late Leonard Clark of Parker Road, NB, occurred at the Miramichi Hospital on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the age of 85. Born in Newcastle, NB, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Ada (Astle) Sturgeon. Lena was a homemaker and in her younger years enjoyed playing darts, radio bingo, puzzles, reading and going to the camp in Renous with Leonard.

Lena is survived by her children: Dianne Benoit (Terry) of Chaplin Island Road, NB; Karen Clark (Louis Hallihan) of Parker Road, NB; Eddy Clark (Karen Whitlock) of Fredericton, NB; Gary Joseph “Joe” Clark of Miramichi, NB; siblings: Geraldine Donovan of Renous, NB; Shirley Hallihan of Renous, NB; Thelma Buchanan (Charlie) of Fredericton, NB; Mary DeWolfe (Peter) of Fredericton, NB; chosen brother: Albert Sturgeon (Helen) of Doaktown, NB; grandchildren: Alex, Cheyenne, Dustin, Kyle, Emily and Felicity as well as several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, Lena is predeceased by grandson: Matthew Benoit and siblings: Joan, Sylvia, Eileen, Annie, Roxie and Frank.

At the request of the family there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will be held from St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery later in the spring.
