The death of Laurie Warren Hare, of Losier Hall, occurred on Monday, February 24, 2025, at his late residence at the age of 83. Born in Newcastle, NB, he was the son of the late Willis and Clara “Jean” (Dupuis) Hare.

Laurie is survived by special friend: Jennette Hache; daughter: Sandra Giggie (Randy); sons: Laurie Hare Jr., Douglas Hare (Clara), Willis Hare; brother: William “Bill” Hare (Diane); sister: Marilyn Williamson (Sam); grandchildren: Adam, Matthew, Melanie, Zackary, Alyssa; great grandchildren: Liam, Rory.

Besides his parents, he is predeceased by daughter: Carolyn Landry; brother: Fred Hare (Vivian).

Following his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will take place at Miramichi Cemetery later in the spring.
