Elva Mary (Martin) Goulding of Baie-Sainte-Anne, New Brunswick, passed away suddenly at her residence on Tuesday, June 10th, 2025, at the age of 83.
Born in Baie-Sainte-Anne, New Brunswick, on January 10, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Emma (Lirette) Martin.
Elva was a kind, passionate, and loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, and Friend.
Elva was a fun-loving and competitive individual who loved Bingo, Cribbage and playing cards with her family. Her smiles and laughter, especially around the table, will be missed by all.
She leaves behind her three sons: Stephen (Kerry), Michael (Kenda), and Kevin (Jade); twelve grandchildren and step-grandchildren; as well as ten great-grandchildren. Elva is survived by her brothers, Stanislaus (late Helen), and Henri (Jocelyne); and sisters, Gertrude (late James), and Jeanne D’arc. She is predeceased by her parents, Stan and Emma; her great-granddaughter, Makenna; brothers, Emile “Tibby” (Mary) Remi, Thomas, Ade; and sisters, Anne-Marie (Noel), and Patsy (Egbert).
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., at the Sainte-Anne Catholic Church, 5353 NB-117, Baie-Sainte-Anne, with The Reverend Father Antonio Reyes as Celebrant. Interment will follow in the Sainte-Anne Catholic Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Baie-Sainte-Anne Community Center.
