Doris “Angela” Galliah of Miramichi, NB passed away at Shannex – Losier Hall, NB on December 18, 2024 at the age of 85.

Born in Newcastle, NB, on October 24, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elodia (Robichaud) Galliah.  She was a homemaker and a member of Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home Auxiliary for many years.  She attended St. Michael’s Basilica when she was able.

Angela is survived by one daughter, Carmen Moir (Jay) of Miramichi; six grandchildren: Tyler Galliah of Miramichi, Marissa Dawson (Seth) of Moncton, Justin Galliah of Moncton, Josh Moir (Mandy Fraser) of Moncton, Jeremy Moir of Miramichi and Cole Moir of Miramichi; two great-grandchildren: Xavier and River Dawson; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  She was predeceased by her parents, one son, Robbie, five sisters and three brothers.

As per the wishes of her family there will be no visitation or mass.  A graveside service will be held at St. Michael’s Cemetery later in the spring.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick or Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick would be appreciated by the family.
