The death of Doris Mary (Pitre) Manuel, wife of the late Leonard Manuel, of Bellefond, NB, occurred on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at her late residence at the age of 83. Born in South Tetagouche, NB, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Pricilla Pitre.

Doris is survived by daughters: Melinda Manuel (Serge) of Hardwicke, NB, Anita Manuel (Eric) of Beaverbrook, NB, Angella Gauvin (Claude) of Beaverbrook, NB; sons: Paul (Shelley) of Miramichi, NB, Roger (Donna) of Moncton, NB, Robert (Heather) of Chipman, NB; sisters: Yvonne Benoit (late Walter) of Bellefond, NB, Blanche Bjurstrom (Norman) of Red Deer, AB; brothers: Donald (Mabel) of Miramichi, NB, Omer of Ontario, Albany (late Rita) of Montreal, PQ; sister- in- law: Sylvia Pitre of CI Road, NB; grandchildren: Jason, Christopher, Josh, Nathan, Robyn, Derek, Denis, Chantal, Ashley; great grandchildren: Hayden, Hayley, Kalex, Luc, Huxley, Emery, Alexa, Elaina, Ava; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and parents, she is predeceased by sister: Catheline McLaughlin; brother: Clifford Pitre.

The family will receive visitors at Jardine Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Highway, Miramichi, on Sunday, June 15, 2025, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from L’Ascension Roman Catholic Church, Beaverbrook on Monday at 11 AM.
