Donald James Gillis of Chaplin Island Road NB passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 70. Born in Moncton NB on June 19, 1955, son of the late Neil and Faye (McCullam) Gillis.

He is survived by his wife Mildred (L’Huillier) Gillis, daughter, Amanda Gillis, grandchildren; Madison Fraser-Gillis, Logan Fraser-Gillis, Noah Fraser-Gillis, great grandchildren; Ellie Grace Gilby and Myla Gilby, special buddy, Johnny.

By request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will be held at a later date.
