The death of Joseph “Daniel” Boisvert husband of Arlene (Close) Boisvert of Barnaby, NB, occurred on March 8, 2025, at the age of 65. Born in Chatham, NB, is the son of Lorette (Richard) Boisvert and the late France Boisvert. Daniel was recently retired from Baffin Land Iron Mine in Nunavut where he worked as an Electrician. He enjoyed fishing and hunting in his spare time.

Besides his wife and mother, Daniel is survived by his children: Jacob (Josée Comeau) of Barnaby, NB; Joshua (Peyton Hubbard) of Barnaby, NB; Gregory Hogan (Desiree) of Edmonton, AB; Courtney Reid of Ottawa, ON; siblings: Odette Bond (Gary) of Greenwood, NS; Jo-Anne Girouard (Allan) of Nunavut; Mark of Calgary, AB; Reggie (Shawn); Gerard (Cheryl); Conrad (Catherine) all of Miramichi, NB; brother-in-law: Sonny Close (Kristen) of Miramichi, NB; grandchildren: Rhys and Haylie as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his father, Daniel is predeceased by an infant daughter: Katrina and brother: Jarvis.

The family will receive visitors at Jardine Funeral Home, on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 11 AM with Father Anthony Dass Papu officiating. Burial will take place in the Most Pure Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Cemetery later in the spring.
