The death of Caroline Anne (Jardine) Fournier, wife of the late Wilfred Fournier Jr. of Miramichi, NB, occurred on Friday, March 28, 2025, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 84. Born on September 17th, 1940 in Warwick Settlement, NB, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Velna (Hubbard) Jardine. 

Caroline is survived by her daughters: Debbie (Fournier) Murray (late Bradley) of Chaplin Island Road, NB and Sherry Fournier (Yvon Breau) of Surrey, BC; son: Todd Fournier (Pam Bell) of Chaplin Island Road, NB; sisters: Beulah Landry (late David) of Miramichi, NB, Velna Treadwell (late Paul) of Miramichi, NB, and Roberta Pelletier (Pierre) of Trenton, ON; and grandchildren: Chelsey Breau (Tim Nica), Logan Murray (Sue Park), Shaunacey Murray (Patrick Reilly), Gabrielle “Gil” Fournier (Eion Dunlop), and Annaka Fournier. 

Besides her husband and parents, she is predeceased by sisters: Betty O’Donnell (late Everett) and Jacqueline Jardine; and brothers: Gerald Jardine (late Annabelle) and infant brother Robert Jardine Jr. 

The family will receive visitors at Jardine Funeral Home on Monday, March 31, 2025 from 1-3pm. Funeral will follow at 3:30pm with Rev. Joash Schumpelt officiating. Interment will be held at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery later in the spring.
