It is with sadness that we announce the death of Mrs. Catherine Savoie Guitar, occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Friday, February 14, 2025, at the age of 73 years. She was the wife of the late Alban Guitar and lived in Miramichi, but once in Neguac. Born on February 10, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Romeo Savoie and Amanda Breau.

 

She leaves behind two sisters: Berthe (Marcel) and Anita (Alvery); one goddaughter, Monica (René); her nephews and nieces: Marc (Melissa), Tanya (Renaud), Karine (Yann), Ghyslain (Gaëtanne) and Julie (Caroline); two brothers-in-law: Patrice (Denise) and Walter (Linda); a granddaughter Savannah whom she considered her granddaughter; one caregiver, Mark and his friend Tia, and several cousins.

A brother, Jean-Marie, and a sister, Irene, preceded her in the grave.

 

The family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 a.m., on Friday, February 21, at the Robichaud & Fils House, 50, Rue Otho, in Neguac. A celebration of life will be held at the Robichaud House in Neguac on the same day, Friday, February 21st, at 11am.

 

Visiting Hours: Friday, February 21 9:30 - 10:45 am.
