Brian Harrison Gunn, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 24, 2024, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital following a short illness. Brian was born in Newcastle, NB in 1952, son of Douglas and Bertha and lived in Maple Glen during his younger years. He worked at Heath Steel Mine before joining Acadia Forest Products in 1973 and retiring from UPM. He enjoyed snowmobiling, biking, gardening and other recreations for many years. 

Brian is survived by his mother: Bertha, sister: Carolyn, brother: David and their families, special friend: Jeanne and her grandchildren who meant a lot to him. 

Besides his father, Brian is predeceased by his wife: Patsy; brothers-in-law: Al Beam and Don Hunter.

There will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held from Jardine Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 3 PM. Burial will take place in Maple Glen Cemetery later in the spring.
