The death of Arthur Despres, husband of Cecilia (Dorion) Despres, of Foyer Assomption Nursing Home and formally of Beaverbrook, NB, occurred on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at his residence at the age of 82. Born in Pleasant Ridge, NB, he was the son of the late Paul and Eliza (LeBlanc) Despres.

Beside his wife, he is survived by brother: Leonide Despres of Toronto, ON; niece: Lillian Burton of Quarryville, NB; nephew: Roger Arseneault of Toronto, ON; sister-in-law: Brenda Despres, and her son: Stephen.

Beside his parents, he is predeceased by sister: Anita Arsenault; brothers: Laurie and Claude.

The family will receive visitors at Jardine Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 2-3pm. Funeral will follow at 3 o’clock in the chapel with Fr. Antonio Reyes officiating. Interment will follow in L'Ascension Roman Catholic Cemetery.
