The death of Annie Mae (Sherrard) Hosford, wife of the late Earl Hosford of Miramichi, NB, occurred on Monday, January 13, 2025, at the age of 100. Born in Boom Road, NB, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Eva (Hare) Sherrard. Annie was a homemaker who attended Calvary Baptist Church where she was a faithful member. She also enjoyed knitting in her spare time. 

Annie is survived by her children: Bob (Lena), Ian of Miramichi, NB; Lesa (Colby) of Argentina and Steven of ON; sister: Kay MacDonald of Waterloo, ON; grandchildren: Rob (Samantha), Dara (Clyde), Tyler (Riley), Natalie (Dennis), Benjamin (Noel), Samuel (Diana), Jonathan, Austin (Jenna), Chandler (Kaitlyn); great grandchildren: Kate, Theo, Jazmin, Clara, Amy, and Laura.

Besides her parents and husband, Annie is predeceased by siblings: Cecil, Clarence, Robert, Miller, Florence Schaffer, Minnie and Theresa as well as a great granddaughter: MacKenzie.

The family will receive visitors at Jardine Funeral Home on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The Funeral service will be held from the Calvary Baptist Church on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 2 PM with Pastor Matthew Porter officiating. Burial will take place in the Miramichi Cemetery later in the spring.
