Amelia Nash of Hardwicke, New Brunswick, passed away at Percy’s Place, Miramichi, New Brunswick, on January 10, 2025, at the age of 97.

Born in Baie-Sainte-Anne, New Brunswick, on January 5, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Jack Charlie and Antonia (Goguen) Martin.  She was a Homemaker, and attended Sainte-Anne’s Catholic Church, Baie-Sainte-Anne, New Brunswick.

Amelia is survived by two daughters: Antonia Nash of Hardwicke, NB, and Rosalie Martin (Albert) of Miramichi, NB; two sons: John Nash (Margaret) of Fredericton, NB, and James Nash (Donna) of Riverview, NB; five grandchildren: Tina, Bradley, Chastity, Christopher, and Vikie; five great-grandchildren: Abigail, Amelia, Lily, Kevin, and Lucas; two sisters: Victorine Johnson, and Rosalie Martin of Baie-Sainte-Anne, NB; as well as nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents, husband, Roy Nash, four sisters, and three brothers.

At the request of the family, there will be no visitation.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sainte-Anne’s Catholic Church, 5351, Route 117, Baie-Sainte-Anne, NB, on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 11 AM, with The Reverend Father Antonio Reyes as Celebrant.  Interment will be in Hardwicke Catholic Cemetery later in the spring.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
